React Development Services & Engineering

Devs & Logics is a React development company for US startups, single-page apps, dashboards, and internal tools built on React 19, TypeScript, and Vite, plus migrations from legacy React and AngularJS, delivered in fixed-scope phases for teams in New York, Chicago, Boston, and nationwide.

The problem we solve

Most React problems arrive in one of three forms: a create-react-app-era codebase nobody dares upgrade, an AngularJS application that lost vendor support years ago, or a product that was rightly built as a single-page app but never got the architecture around it, typed API contracts, a real data layer, tests, a bundle budget. Meanwhile the ecosystem keeps moving, security advisories keep landing, and every quarter of drift makes the eventual upgrade more expensive.

What we deliver

React is the foundation under everything we ship, our Next.js products are React apps, so this page covers the cases where you want React without the framework layer: products that live behind a login, tools your team uses all day, and interfaces where the client is the product. If you need fast public pages or search visibility, that's a job for our Next.js development practice, and we'll say so plainly in discovery.

  • React 19 single-page apps on Vite and TypeScript, built for the long haul
  • Dashboards and internal tools: role-based access, tables, charts, real-time updates
  • A proper data layer: typed API contracts, caching, optimistic updates
  • Migrations from create-react-app, legacy React, and AngularJS to modern React
  • Performance work: React Compiler adoption, code-splitting, enforced bundle budgets
  • A clean path to Next.js or React Native when the product outgrows a SPA

Our process

  1. 1

    Product & architecture fit

We start by testing whether a single-page app is genuinely the right shape. Everything behind a login, no search surface, heavy client-side interaction: React with Vite is excellent. Public pages that need to rank, or content that must render server-side: we'll point you to Next.js before you spend a sprint on the wrong foundation. A short written verdict comes first, whether or not we build.

  2. 2

    Build on the current stack

React 19 with TypeScript end to end, Vite for the build, a router and data layer chosen for your product rather than by habit, and the React Compiler enabled where it pays off. Delivery follows the same fixed-scope phases as our SaaS MVP development work: auth, roles, and the core workflow first, everything else after.

  3. 3

    Quality gates & performance

Vitest for logic, Playwright for the flows that carry revenue, CI checks that block a failing merge, and bundle-size budgets so the app doesn't quietly double in weight over six months. We measure performance on your app rather than promise it.

  4. 4

    Deploy, observe & hand off

Static hosting or a CDN in front of your API, monitoring, and documentation land with the code, and the repository is yours either way. Where the roadmap points toward server-rendered pages, the migration path to Next.js is planned into the architecture from day one, the wider picture lives in our web development practice.

Proof & outcomes

  • Every published Devs & Logics case study runs on React (inside Next.js), fintech, healthtech, and AI-native SaaS
  • Role-based dashboards, admin tooling, and billing interfaces shipped across our SaaS builds
  • Typed API contracts, Vitest and Playwright coverage, and CI gates as standard delivery practice
  • Production stacks: React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Vercel and AWS

Frequently asked questions

What is included in your React development services?

New single-page apps on React 19, TypeScript, and Vite; dashboards and internal tools with role-based access; a typed data layer; migrations from create-react-app, legacy React, and AngularJS; performance and bundle-budget work; and Vitest plus Playwright coverage with CI gates. Everything is scoped as fixed-price phases, with the repository and documentation yours from day one.

Do we need React or Next.js?

React with Vite fits products that live entirely behind a login, internal tools, and client-heavy real-time interfaces, places where server rendering adds moving parts without adding customers. If you need fast public pages, search visibility, or server-side data work, Next.js is the stronger default. Our published comparison walks through the decision, and we'll tell you plainly which one your product needs before any build starts.

Can you migrate our AngularJS or legacy React app?

Yes. AngularJS reached end of life in December 2021, so running it means running unsupported software, and create-react-app is no longer the recommended way to start a project. We migrate incrementally: audit first, then move route by route or module by module behind a shared shell, with the old and new paths running side by side until each screen is proven. You end up on modern React and TypeScript without a big-bang rewrite.

Do you use React 19 features and the React Compiler?

Yes, where they fit. React 19 is stable, and the line has reached 19.2 with Server Components stable as well. The React Compiler reached 1.0 in October 2025; it's optional, works with React 17 and later, and is enabled by default in new Vite, Next.js, and Expo projects. On existing apps we adopt it incrementally and measure the effect rather than assume it.

How much does React development cost?

In the 2026 US market, senior onshore engineering runs roughly $120 to $200 an hour, and scope drives the total far more than the framework does: the number of screens, integrations, and roles, and how much of an existing codebase has to be untangled. We quote each phase as a fixed price after an audit, so the figure attaches to a scope you've seen. Migrations are also worth doing sooner than later, since even the React Server Components packages have had security advisories that only staying current protects against.
